The Mic Mac Bar & Grill is a cherished family-owned business that has been serving the community since 1963. Back then, the restaurant was run by Louis LeGoffic and his wife Florence who, despite having no prior experience in a commercial kitchen, was responsible for preparing all the meals. Together, they built the foundation for a beloved local establishment
A Local Staple
By 1966, Mic Mac Bar & Grill had become a staple in the Dartmouth community, particularly among the local men, as the laws at the time prohibited women in drinking establishments. However, in 1974, those laws changed, and women were welcomed to join in the fun, making Mic Mac Bar & Grill a truly inclusive spot for everyone.
